So far, this weekend, I have:

1. Gone to LA for karaoke and dinner with izhilzha and sarcasticval (who are so fun to hang out with that it should be illegal) followed by coffee and a chat with Izh, followed by driving home while Val kept me awake over the phone. It's probably a sign that you think too much when you're doing your hair in the morning, and you realize that you've spent the past half-hour pondering the ways in which the philosophy of love in C.S. Lewis's Till We Have Faces applies to the various characters on Gilmore Girls. Before coffee, no less.

So I'm on the last episode of Season 1 of Gilmore Girls, and it's reminding me of the time I read Autumn Term, because I'm actually distressed over the trials and tribulations of fictional characters despite the fact that said tribulations do not involve monsters, space ships, vast armies arrayed with spear and shield, or any of the other things ( Read more... )
